VerifyStub

Terms of use

Last updated October 28, 2026.

The service

VerifyStub (paystubtocsv.com) reads pay stubs from files you upload, puts the figures in a worksheet and CSV, and checks the arithmetic: net-pay math on each stub and the year-to-date chain across stubs. By using it you agree to these terms.

What it is not

  • It checks arithmetic consistency only. It does not detect altered or forged documents.
  • It does not verify employment, income or identity.
  • It is not a consumer reporting agency and its output is not a consumer report. Do not use it as one.
  • It is not legal, lending, tax or accounting advice. Estimates such as annualized or monthly income are arithmetic aids and not qualifying income.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload forged, altered or fabricated documents, or documents made to look like someone else's.
  • Do not upload documents you have no right to upload or handle.
  • Do not try to disrupt the service, bypass its limits or probe it for weaknesses.
  • You are responsible for following the laws that apply to how you use the results, including rules on lending, housing, privacy and consumer reporting.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and what you download. You give us permission to process the file to return the result. How files are handled is described in the privacy page.

Accuracy and review

Reading documents, particularly photos and scans, can produce errors, and the checks can raise flags for ordinary reasons. The service is provided as is. Compare every flagged figure, and every figure you rely on, with the original document before you act on it.

Plans and billing

The free allowance is 1 file per day, up to 10 pages, no account. Files over 10 pages are converted up to page 10 on the free allowance; a page code converts the whole file, up to 150 pages. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions with the limits shown on the pricing page, which also explains how paid access works. Payment is handled by PayPal at checkout. Plans and prices can change, and changes are posted on the pricing page. For billing questions email [email protected].

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using the results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending use

You can stop using the service at any time. We may refuse a file, limit access or end a subscription if these terms are broken.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with them.

Terms: common questions

Can I upload someone else's pay stubs?

Only if you have the right to. For example, an applicant gave them to you so that you can process their application. Do not upload documents you obtained without permission or have no right to handle.

Can I upload an edited or forged document?

No. Acceptable use forbids forged or altered documents. VerifyStub also cannot detect them, so a clean result must never be treated as proof that a document is genuine.

Does VerifyStub verify employment or income?

No. It checks arithmetic on the figures printed on the stubs you upload. Verifying employment or income is a separate step with the employer or an approved verification service.

Is the output a consumer report?

No. VerifyStub is a spreadsheet and arithmetic tool. It is not a consumer reporting agency, it does not assemble or evaluate information about a person's creditworthiness, and its output must not be used as a consumer report.

Who owns what I upload and what I download?

You do. You give us permission to process the file so we can return the result. We do not claim rights over your documents or the CSV.

Is the output guaranteed to be accurate?

No. Reading documents, and especially photos, can produce errors. Compare every flagged figure, and any figure you rely on, with the original document.

Can limits and prices change?

Yes. Changes are posted on the pricing page. The limits shown there are the ones that apply when you subscribe.

What happens if the rules are broken?

We may refuse a file, limit access or end a subscription. We do not need to give notice for a clear breach, such as uploading forged documents.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Cancel it in your PayPal account, or email [email protected] with the address you paid with. Cancelling keeps the pages already paid for on your page code.
